Terms of Service

1. What RizzCall is (and isn't)

RizzCall is a game and communication-skills trainer: short, timed voice calls with fictional AI characters, followed by a scored report. It is not a companion app, not a dating service, not therapy, and not professional coaching, career, legal, financial or medical advice. The feedback is generated by AI for training and entertainment; treat it like a funny, occasionally harsh sparring partner, not an authority.

The characters are AI, not people. Every character is an AI-generated fictional persona. However convincing a call sounds, no human is on the line, characters cannot form real relationships or feelings, and what they say may be inaccurate or unfair. The product is deliberately designed against emotional reliance: calls are capped at 3 minutes, characters remember only your game performance, and there is no relationship progression of any kind.

2. Eligibility

You must be 17 or older (18+ where local law requires). By using RizzCall you represent that you meet this age requirement; if you are under it you are not authorized to use the Service, with or without an account. The app is rated 17+ and characters end the call if a user identifies as a minor.

3. Your account

Accounts are anonymous and tied to your device. Deleting the app or your account (Settings → delete account) removes your data as described in the Privacy Policy. We can't recover an anonymous account whose device is gone; your streak dies with your phone. Back up your phone.

4. Subscriptions, lives & purchases

  • Some content requires a subscription, billed through your Apple account. Prices are shown in the app before purchase.
  • Plans include a daily allowance of calls ("lives") that refills at midnight local time. Unused lives don't roll over.
  • Extra calls may be offered as one-time consumable purchases.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled in your Apple ID settings at least 24 hours before the period ends. Refunds are handled by Apple under their policies.
  • Lives, extra calls and similar in-app items are gameplay allowances, not property: they have no monetary value, can't be transferred or cashed out, and may be rebalanced as the game evolves. Unused daily lives don't roll over.
  • EU/UK consumers: by starting a purchase you request immediate delivery of digital content and acknowledge that the 14-day withdrawal right lapses once delivery begins.

5. Fair use

You agree not to:

  • attempt to extract prompts, reverse-engineer, scrape, or automate calls;
  • use the app to generate or solicit content that is unlawful or sexually explicit; characters are instructed to go cold and hang up, and repeated attempts may end your access;
  • cheat leaderboards. Daily scores are written server-side only; we remove entries we believe are manipulated and may reset scores or suspend access for cheating, without refund.

Leaderboards display auto-generated anonymous handles, your score and percentile. We may remove or regenerate any handle or entry at our discretion.

6. Content and IP

The app, its characters, artwork and reports are ours. Your share cards are yours to post anywhere (that's the point) with our branding intact. What you say in a call is yours; the scoring of it, we generate.

7. AI disclaimer

AI characters improvise. They may occasionally say something inaccurate, odd, or unfair, including your score. We tune them to roast the performance, never the person, and to stay PG-13; if a character crosses a line, report it via Support and we'll fix the character, not defend it.

8. Safety

RizzCall is a game and cannot provide crisis support. If you are experiencing thoughts of self-harm or a mental-health crisis, stop using the app and contact local emergency services or a crisis line: in the US, call or text 988; in the EU, 112 reaches emergency services. Characters are instructed to break character and point to real help rather than engage with crisis content.

9. Availability & changes

We may add, change or retire characters, scenarios and features (the cast rotates; that's part of the game). We aim for the service to be available at all times but don't guarantee it.

10. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RizzCall is provided "as is", and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits liability for intent, gross negligence, or death or personal injury, or excludes rights that consumer law grants you and that cannot lawfully be waived. For EU consumers, those statutory guarantees apply in full.

11. Disputes (US users)

For users in the United States: disputes are resolved by binding individual arbitration, not court, and you waive participation in class actions. You may opt out of arbitration by emailing us within 30 days of first accepting these terms. Claims must be brought within one year of arising. Small-claims court remains available for qualifying claims. This section does not apply to EU/UK consumers, who keep all mandatory local rights and venues.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the country where RizzCall's operating entity is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are an EU or UK consumer, you additionally enjoy the mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence and may bring proceedings in your local courts.
